How Do I Get a Book or Article When UCSF Doesn't Have It?

Request it via Interlibrary Loan

In order to request resources through Interlibrary Loan you must have the following:

  • A current library borrowing account
  • A 14-digit barcode number on the front of your UCSF ID

How do I place a request?

  • If you have a citation, use the UC-eLinks Citation Linker and select article, book, journal volume, or dissertation.
  • If you're searching a database such as PubMed@UCSF, click on the UC-eLinks icon button in your search results.

For non-standard requests or if you need additional assistance, please call us at (415) 502-5789.

I want UCSF to add an item to the collection
